The blue beast is my girlfriends mini, called Mavis!
A 1989 Mayfair i do believe!
And the red one is mine!
A 1981 Austin Morris!
Both are in the process of being restored; all be it, very slowly..! And my mini is going for its MOT soon (first one since 1998!)
Hope someone enjoys a perv on our pair of matching minis!

What engines are they running? Do you two ever get yourselves along to mini shows? Did you meet through minis or was one of your into them and "infected" the other with the bug?

Unfortunatly no mini shows yet, ive only had mine since may, and have been slowly getting it road worthy again, and we have only just got Danis back on the road! Been doing up the 1967 Beetle lately!
We met each other, and our mutual love of minis perhaps sparked us who knows! But she had hers first! Understandable as i was 16 when we met
Oh! Both are running 998's, mine is pretty much standard still atm, but the ol' ball and chain has a stage 1 kit fitted, and has been racetuned, goes like stinnnkkkk

Theyre there for when we finally wire up the spotlights!
As for mine, im quite happy with it as it is! Well, when theres a dashboard and such
But i have spots to go on, and need to refurb the wheels; little things aye!
Its going to be my means of transport to uni every day, 40 mile trip, so i want to keep it sweet and comfortable!
But if you have any suggestions of things to do on it, i wouldnt object
Comedy dixie horns?
Hoping to get a Mini-van or something similar when the funds kick in a bit more!
Turn that into some kind of beast!
But im not all that confident with a spanner just yet! Learning as i go!
