Hi,

On my 1275 head I took off the heater control thingy to give it a clean up. It was jammed full of crud and the hole out of the head was pretty much sealed up. I compared it to my 998 head and the hole is recessed slightly and that hole is smaller than that on the upper head casting. It looks like a small casting issue and the smaller hole has caused crud to build up around the recessed lip.

Has anyone else seen this or is this just how 1275 heads are?
