Hi there, I have a set of coil springs instead of the rubber cones fitted to my mini. When I go over a pothole, although I can no longer feel it, it does make a bit of a racket, and after a while it's getting a bit irritating. According to a guy I was speaking to at one of the mini shows you can get some 'coil suspension rubber gaskets for noise control', which I guess makes sense, but he couldn't remember where he saw them.

My question is, does anyone know where I could get some? It was suggested that www.mini-delta.co.jp might have sold some in the past but I don't read Japanese.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. With thanks.

You can navigate the Mini Delta site fairly easily by looking a the pictures about the different sections. Babel fish also does a fairly good job of translating it as well.

I think all of Mini Deltas coil kits come with rubber gaskets and they also sell them separately. Clicky Clicky

I believe they have fluent english speakers on staff so if you can't find any in the UK or don't ant to make them yourself you should have a problem ordering from them.

That's brilliant, at least I now know they actually exist. Thanks for that, how's the clubman getting on? I'm impressed by the work you are doing on it. :)

The rubber spacers were reasonable but the postage was £140 so I made my own out of woven silicone rubber composite material that I found at an army surplus place (it's used for tanks, so I thought it should stand up to a bit of Mini abuse)

Anyway, so far, no more movement and the ride is silky smooth and quiet. :)
