Anyone got a CB radio in there mini? Do they use it on runs/convoys and shows? Do you need a licence?

Im thinking of buying and installing this.

I was planning on doing the exact same thing, I just wasnt sure if a CB aerial would look ridiculous on a mini.

ive seen them on them before. They look alittle odd but who cares?!! lol

was going to have a magnestic ariel on my clubby estate roof in the rear centre and a clip on one on my Zeemax mayfair (The KOD father)

OFCOM have now abolished the CB licence :D

there is normaly loads of farmers buy me , but havent spoke to any 1 yet , i have abused some people :D

Tis true my mate used to work there and they are very good.

Tell them its for a mini and they make sure you get everything you need.

If you use a magnetic aerial, how do you wire it to the inside of the car, do you have to drill holes in your roof ?

put the wire through the back window is how ive seen it done. i supose it depends how tidy and permant you want it.

you can buy clip on areials aswell. clip them onto the back window, mirror etc

that thunderpole place had an add in miniworld i think

Never had one in a mini! but we used to have them in the tractors and one at the house when we had the farm and they were well good!!

anyone know the sort of range on that? I know it will differ from open land to in town but im looking for an approx
