Just found the problem with the headlights on the '89 was the headlight switch itself, and i would like to replace it with an illuminated (green) one. I know they exist as i bought one a few years ago, the part was on a DAF or LDV van? anyone out there know a part number or supplier?

Picture of original switch;

ADU4778 also used on Itals, Land Rover and MGB's. The non illum version was introduced because the illum ones had a habit of burning out. Use a relay if you find one.

Hi people,

i ordered one from merlin motorsport (link in iclemini's post) - was cheapest when including postage.

There was a little bit of extra wiring to do (wiring for the new bulb)

I've just bought an original one of these, new, old-stock illuminated switch from eBay, still in it's Leyland packaging, for 99p lol.

Where should I put that relay Ethel?
