Hello, i am james 17 year old kid with a mini!!

i brought the mini with some modifications such as bucket seats roll cage stage 1 alloys arches ect..

because of this all insurence companys are not quotting me or the are saying £3500 +

do any of you know of any good insurence companys or what mods are not so important to declare,

the old owner of the car was with quinn same age as me and didnt declare any of them, his was £1000.

i am not sure this is worth risking it tho....

any ideas????

Try taking out the cage, insurance companies load premiums if you have a cage.


Flux are good, if you join TMF + you get a 15% discount as well

Thought I'd add this in here rather than start a new thread and get shouted at...

Just wondering how much I can expect to have added to my premium if I was to add the following modifications to my Mini -

Alloy wheels
Stage 1 tuning kit
Seats and general interior stuff etc.

I know everyone's quotes are different but no harm in asking, I'm currently with Churchill.
