the guy that sold them retired and they are no longer available unless you can find one secondhand or get one made

I was going to get one and fit some badges to it...

Just realised that they look the same... might not be strong enough for lamps - as they both look like they were made for badges? might be worth a look into though... (if you cant get exactly what you want....)

They are pretty dam hard to find as it goes. I found one at the riv run and snapped it for £15. I never fitted it though. I just put in with my pile of bits that I may some day need.

Good luck finding one though.

Who would have thought that they would become a rare and sought after part? Makes me wish I'd bought a couple of extra ones back in the day!!

Well, I guess this goes on the un-obtanium list, along with the MKI dome lamp with the white lever.

I'd imagine that they are fairly easy to copy & fabricate if you have, or know of someone with the right skills. I posted a few pics of mine in a thread here a few days ago for exactly that purpose, if it's of any help: Click

I have the skills and a welder, trying to find a tubing bender....... that is the problem. mandrel benders are not cheap.
