Hi all,
MiMi (Standard 998 with no frills) is not running too sweetly - having to keep the choke out to keep her idling
at the lights and think that 1) is running too rich so will look at that and 2) maybe she
deserves a new set of plugs anyway.
So went window shopping and found a knowledgeable bloke who suggested multispark plugs
that "will make it run a bit stronger"...
At twenty four quid they look at once quite tempting and shockingly expensive.
Anyone got them / tried them ?
Best wishes
Monty

If you have other problems (which it sounds like you do have) buying fancy plugs isn't going to make any difference. Get the other problems sorted, get it tuned and serviced properly and buy a new set of standard plugs.

Having to pull the choke out, actually suggests it may be running a bit weak.
Check for any leaks on the manifold / carb side of things.
If it as a servo check the hose isn't leaking and that the banjo connection is tight.
If nothing found there there a small tune up would be advised
Forget fancy plugs, just put a set of standard NGK's in I think BP6ES is the number ??

fancy plugs are a waste of money, all you need on the road is BP6ES ngk's. get the car looked at and rolling roaded
