Well it's been almost a year exactly since the day i bought my first mini... fast forward 7 months from then and my mini was ready for the road and it's MOT was set for april 16th, also the date of my 17th b-day! So the car got through the MOT, the only problem being the trip to the garage where the car broke down right opposite a bunch of police men..with no tax or MOT...luckily they didn't offer to help and my dad got the car going again.

My first drive of my mini came that night, when half a mile down the road..it broke down again!! scary moment for me on my first ever drive on the main road lol. Got it home and it turned out we had the wrong coil on the car, changed that and we were away...no problems this time;)

Fast forward another 2 and a half months again and i'd passed my test and was out in the mini every chance i got!

However, the main point of this topic is to say how impressed i am with the mini scene and the people involved, since april i have been to many national mini shows and even more local outings with the pembrokeshire mini club, i've had a wicked 5 months so far and met loads of new people! I've even won a trophy for my mini And had my first racing experience in a 8 hour banger race which i entered with the mini club.

Here are some pics from those 5 months, and with at least 2 more outings planned for this months, including castle combe i'm sure there's loads more fun to come.

Yes very nice Mini there and a Mini is for life, not just for Xmas (or a passing phaze).
