Today I replaced a couple of crimp connectors, for the temp sender unit and the wires going to the coil. Also re-crimped he hazard flasher unit feed wires to no avail =] then it got very windy and started getting dark so I retired back inside for some tea and a dose of TMF ;)

I have bought the following things I just have to fit them now:

Timing Chain Cover Gasket
Crank Pulley Seal
Head Gasket Kit inc. valve stem oil seals
Engine Steady bushes - for both the lower and top ultimate one
Radiator top bracket to replace the home-made effort :)
Centre Console- will wire in the stereo before this though :)
New Windscreen Washer Jets - standard black bolt-on type
MK2 rear lights :w00t:
TMF stickers for the rear windows ;)
Blue number 10 pool ball gear stick :w00t:
I need some hammerite Kurust, after sanding down the floors and treating the handful of surface rust patches I will daub that on followed by Special Metals Primer and the 1 Pack Poly Paint which I got today - which is slightly darker than body colour (but it was free so I can't complain ;) )

Oh I'm going to take those ridiculous Mini Cooper badges off too and try find some original badges which were fitted to the Mini's of this year.. anyone know which ones they are?

Today I fitted a new "10" pool ball gear knob which is blue to match the car :w00t:

The (block paved) drive is absolutely covered in oil, wich I'd have stuck an oven tray or something similar underneath where it's leaking from... :)

Not 100% but I think it might have been this one originally on the front:

I have one, it currently decorates my living room window sill, lol

On the back I'm completely guessing at... (not sure about the Leyland logo? - but if it is right the front one should possibly be Leyland shield too)

Might be a good one to put on, will confuse other drivers when you leave them at the lights :) hehe

Wow they're the exact ones I think, pretty sure it's a Leyland as it's a 1979?

Have you got both of those Lisa or just the top one?

Ahh coolio, the only problem then is fitting them without making a mess of the boot/bonnet :) the current ones are stuck on but I haven't had a look to see if there's holes..

There was also a shield for the front with the "flying arsehole" roundel. I had a 74 saloon with the same badge as Lisa's.

If I ever find that paint you can have it, it was Superfleet, good for brushing, I'll let you know :)

I prefer the one Minili posted up because it's got a blue bit to match Evey's colour :)

Think I will stick an 850 badge on the boot :w00t:
