Looks good! Matches her!!

My boyfriends van is a '79 and its got this badge, but is that cause its a van? (sorry, dont want to confuse matters!)

Mine's a Mk4 '79 Mini City and has the leyland badge on the bonnet and (did have) 'Mini' badge on the boot.

Just 'Mini' or Mini 1000?

It might have Leyland bonnet badge because it's a city?

Think I'll just get some from roughly that 'era' to replace the pointless cooper ones that are on

Quick update...

Worked from around 12midday to 8pm today getting a sore back, squashed fingers, extended swearing vocabulary, numb nose and toes and oil and water everywhere. Least we had some Beadle jokes to make us chuckle...

Radiator out, crank thingy out, alternator shifted a bit. Timing Chain Cover off, Gasket replaced, crank pulley seal replaced, few bolts lost and extra ones found ( :P ), a Mars bar and a Twin thrown in, oh I bought a Halfords Professional set, the £150 ones, with a £50 set of ratchet spanners all for £60 too

More updates soon when I decide to give my back a good thrashing and my nose the 'ice' treatment again :genius:

Yeah but if I'd have got there earlier Dan wouldn't have been around

Then again when I checked my oil this morning, realised it was WAAY above the maximum and didn't have a spanner to fit the sump plug that didn't help with time... :genius:

Surely you can get a tarp stretched out off the top of that fence to get out of the wet?
