He called the seam strips guttering!! Neither of them seem to know anything! I agree with GW why not replace the whole a panel.

Half an A-panel - what a butcher!! It makes lining up the door easier which is less effort!!

Not got the correct front panel either!!

Is that wingtop / scuttle repair filler or what!!!

what you have to remember is that it was done on a budget to maximize profit.

it wasnt bodged, it just wasnt done as we, mini owners, would do it.

Yeah and the whole sale part will be staged.A researcher will have found the car, done the deal and sold it,not Mike Brewer,he`s a right t*****.The best programme with those two pricks was the one with the Suzuki Jeep that was totally rotten and they didn`t relise until they`d bought big wheels and monster truck style suspension.Muppets!

Agree with you there. They change the rear axle, put in a rear roll cage, and paint the whole car, and then it fails the MOT because the rear is so badly rotten!! I can't believe they just happened to miss all that rust.

long story, but what the tv program is more smoke and mirrors than a fair ground on fireworks nite, the car if i remember correctly we got it back for 800quid because the work upon it was more than not good, and well i got thrown of the set when it was purchased because of an honest veiw of the car.

and they also spent almost double the abmount of money they said too

Another classic showing Brewer as a total con artist, they did an early BMW 3serie estate. It needed a new exhaust anthey bought a steel system and told the bloke who bought it that it had a FULL STAINLESS SYSTEM,when all it was,was a pair of chrome tail pipe trims.
