Does anyone have any idea in where I can find my Coolant Temp sensor? I read up in the haynes manual its on the inlet manifold, and I dont really want to start taking lots of stuff off as every time I take stuff of my car, things around it tend to break and I end up forking out big bucks to get it running again. any pics would be great, or diagrams ect...
P.S the car is a 1993 SPI 1275cc Cooper

It's located on the underside of the inlet manifold on the right hand side and unless you have no bones in your arms, you'll have to take the manifold off to get to it.
Is it actually not working or do you just fancy taking it off

Well, at the moment the temp is running normal. But it will go back to red in a day or 2, it will go up even if the car is on egnition and its been sitting there for the night, so i guessed a faulty sensor.

Remove the rad, its far easier than removing the manifold

Will I be able to get to it by just removing the rad? that is a fairly simple job, and while im there I will stick my garden hose on it to flush it out!
