Fixed it, simply bought a new fuel trap sensor and both the vacuum pipes that attach to this fitted the parts and it is running like a dream now!

I wonder what's inside a Fuel Trap? Has anyone ever opened one up? They don't feel like there'd be much to them.
I'm just wondering how and why they fail.

It can't be the fuel trap that was causing the problem unless it was leaking or becoming blocked. It seems more likely that the vacuum tubes had a leak. I wish that was my problem...I keep checking them again and again hopefully.
