i have a '01 cooper sport which has a diagnostic port just under the dash by the steering wheel.
i was wondering if it is posible to get the softwear and cable for my personal laptop?
can anyone shed any light on this for me please.

what does it allow you to do? does it have a data logger and fault code reader or is it just a code clearer?

It reads fault codes and you can read live data and record live data.

Sorry to put a dampener on this, but it wont work on the Classic Mini, the MPi mini is not OBD or OBDII. It uses the OBD socket, But its Not OBD.
