Engine number 6 - rebored to 75mm by janspeed. Also got new bearings, vitara pistons and sandwich plate for oil cooler.

Should be good for 250bhp but will only be running about 180bhp

Thanks. It has been a bit of a stuggle at times!

Got pulley calculations a bit wrong :)

Turns out with the standard pulley we will be running 220bhp!!

Well, just checking you guys don't call me names!....

I may be slow at builing but I'm one of original idea to fit Swift G13B!
There so many of them started after me and finished before me...

I will get there.... sometime soon.....eventually....may be next year!?

My wife says that I should finish for my daughter's 17th..... she is only 6 atm!

I suppose we've finished once then taken a few steps back and started again. !

even when the supercharger is in and running, that won't be the end of it as we may start another subframe with a vauxhall gearbox to put the engine in !

All that power will make short work of the GTi box..

I can make the conversion parts easily enough.. but enthusiasm is waning a bit !

I think its a never ending process..

If you get a subframe and driveshafts off the 16vminishop it isn't too hard to do with basic knowledge. But it is a bit expensive! Ive made my own subframe and driveshafts...plus i'm running throttle bodies, edis and megasquirt which make it 100 times more difficult :s But I also have the help of my dad, who has a bit of an engineering background.

p.s If anyone needs driveshafts...we are able to cut suzuki splines on mini driveshafts with the aid of a cnc machine and might even be able top do vauxhall or vtec buit not untill project is on the road.

I am working on my Suzuki / Mini build now and will need shafts, if you are still able to produce these can you give me a price please?

We are two sets of driveshafts behind at the moment...
thinking of making billet ones from EN40 later in the year..
but all that is on hold until we get the new engine in and running

what timescale are you thinking ?

Now then, looking great so far, have been talking with ED about turboing or Super as you are. Tho i think will have to wait for a while. Cant wait to see it finished. Get back in that garage
