In the process of puttin in a metro 1275, with a 12G940 head, LCB single box system, MG inlet manifold, HIF44 and possibly some 1.5 ratio rockers (forged)

1275 Cooper S conversion (Spi).

Twin centre exit DTM...........if there's anything else - scurvy will have to tell me!!

maniflow LCB
De-cat
Maniflow 1.75" backbox.

Not sure on RR figures, when morspeed installs his rolling road, i will be taking a trip down there!

Minty Monty the 1969 Minus

Engine Stuff:
Swiftune 1380 road rocket, with SW10 cam (very much like a modified Kent 286), HIF44 carb, 4 core alloy radiator, front mounted oil cooler, LCB manifold and Luminiton Optronic ignition. Straight cut 4 speed gearbox from Bill Richards Racing, with Orange diaphragm.
Built for torque. Pulls hard all the way through the rev range with 7500red line.

Will be rolling roaded soon to achieve a bhp figure

needle changed
water heated alloy inlet manifold (NOT connected)

remaining money was spent on suspension instead of further engine mods...

suspected 1293 engine (dont the reconditioned engines nowadays have to be bored out to 1293 from 1275?) if not then its a 1275. k&n cone filter with big metal feed, single carb, 3 branch manifold. high gears. unkown gearbox but its very easy to change gear (either that or its so worn).

Erm. Boring I know. But I have a:

1995, 1300cc injection. (I think its probably a 1275cc)

Only downside...

The god damn thing is Automatic!

998cc Rebored .020 over, Std Crank, 1275cc Metro Cylinder Head, Piper Camshaft, Complete Balanced Assembly, Twin 1 1/4" SU carbs, LCB headers, oil cooler, Four speed manual trans on 3.44 diff gears........ planning on getting a lightened and balanced flywheel too and maybe convert to a webber carb in a year or so. :grin:
