Push button wiring?

hope you remember to put the keys in anyway, you'd look a right muppet starting the car off a switch and button then smashing it because the steering locks come on
do you have such things as circuit testers on this little island of your's??
remember to keep everything taped up, no fires
But basically all you're doing is bypassing the 2nd click on the ignition switch, to give you power at the coil, then you bridge the wire from the ignition switch to the starter motor.
if i was you, id leave the swith alone, just fit a push button start!

steering lock? its a 70s 1275GT... no such thing as a steering lock on it as far as I know..
