Looking great there Brian, where'd you get the rubber from? Imported or local? What size?

Just had a new clutch put in mine, went for the Barnett coil spring upgrade and kevlar plates, it leaves 2 black stripes wherever it goes now and no hint of slip >_<

Although I've still not driven it, have to wait another week grrrr lol

PT

The "rubber coverings" came from England LOL. They are 175/50/13 Dunlop sp2000. Didn't go wild on the tires just want a basic package for now. I plan on getting either of the following with some track tires in the future >_<

I recognise those bad boys, seems like most people want this style now.

Your gonna need to do some bending of the upper shoulder wings to get them to fit, mind you Lyle might have told you that already.

yeah just have to bring in the sides of the seats to make em fit, not too bad of a job.. Also need to work on how to mount them to the car.. Thinking of adding another cross mount near the back and then mount the seats to that, we'll see..

Sweet so are you going the K24/K20 motor? Of course I am sure there will be a nice little turbo that will suck half the world through LOL can you send ok a picture of your seat mounts?

I'm on vacation at the moment so no updates on the car.. I'm sitting on a beach in Hawaii watching the world go by ;0) but can't wait to get the car up and running..

Of course there will be, Im hoping for small children at least!

Yep going with the k24 sleeved, fully built, and a K20 Endyne head. Should be in the ballpark of 700 WHP at least. With NOS around the 850-900mark.

I'll get you those picts of the brackets.

So came back form my holidays there on Saturday and straight back to work on the Mini..

I have most of cutting completed, all the rear is nicely chopped just the dash area left. Was also talking to Richard this morning and the first ZCars USA shipment of kits is being shipped this week. Looking at having 2 VTec Kits shipped over so now is the time for any US customers to contact me for first dibs on them :D

Here are some pics I took:

Here it is the powerplant that will push my mini to light speed and beyond. I think this says it all -

2001-2006 JDM Honda Integra Type-R (DC5)
Displacement: 1998 cc
Compression: 11.5:1
Power: 217 hp (220 PS, 162 kW) @ 8000 rpm
Torque: 152 ft·lbf (206 N·m) @ 7000 rpm
Redline: 8500 rpm

6 Speed LSD Hydraulic Transmission

Next steps are to replace the Clutch, change the water pump, new sparks, replace thermostat. Take off all the bits I don't need - Power Steering and AC Compressor, this should free up some horses ) well at least 1 or 2 but every one counts..

So little update today just finished off cutting out the front dash shelf region so thats it the car is complete just waiting on the kit to arrive from England.

Posted Image

Have a Power Steering and AC eliminator kit coming for the Engine this weekend along with all the other bits and pieces.. Thinking of getting a nice clean engine Bay harness and make the Engine wiring as invisible as possible, just so the engine can shine in all its JDM goodness
