How about one to discuss biscuits?
Or the weather?
One for proud sandal and sock wearers?
Seperate ones depending on the colour of your mini?
I'll get back to eating too many dairy products before bedtime. *Runs away before she gets her legs slapped*

Over 18 is a good idea!
All these people post "This is a Mini Forum about Minis". Correct, but why the hell is there a Non-Mini Chat bit then?? :S

Hello Teapot (who lives not far from me)
Hi cap'n.
Now in the real world out there, without our minis there's no way we would normally speak to each other. Why would we? To him I'm another old f**t and to me he's another young, er, person.
That attitude would be reinforced on any forum with an age divide. Which is why it's so important we swallow our prejudices and concentrate on the one thing that unites us ... our very special cars.
PS Cap'n, are you planning to go to another Wiscombe hillclimb this summer?

and im sure there is plenty of stuff us "young uns" can give advice on if we were asked!
people like disco dan who moan about us modding minis and ruining them, when he himself had modded his car to look like a cooper, and made a complete hash of it, is what gets to us, and makes us such "stroppy teenagers" so i appologise to all the older members if any of us have offended you, and if there is anything we can do, that we arent already doing, just say!

Why dont we just set up a Forum for all mini enthusiasts to chat on regardless of age and we could call it The Mini Forum......................................................
Couldn't agree more!
My personal view is that we should not have an over 18 section. This is a family forum and as such can (should) be enjoyed by anyone no matter how old.
I really dislike going on some forums and just seeing constant swearing and aggression. I don’t think the forum is any less because we don’t allow swearing and rudy stuff (yes that is a word – honest).
