I've just read this message on another forum: -

The Royal Mint has 100,000 mini medals to give away over the next 4 weeks. All you need to do is visit the Royal Mint web site and register. ALL THOSE REGISTERED BEFORE 14th SEPTEMBER WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAW TO WIN ONE OF 50 MINI GOLD PROOF COINS.

So I gave it a go and then received this e-mail: -

But that coin/medal on the website looks like another variation. So I'll be happy if it is, more so if I win the gold coin too.
