Pooky, Just remove the rear fixing from a standard harness as it is effectively acting as if it were the bar!

Looks good Geehawk and glad you were pleased with it. Pooky as said most harnesses can simply have the rear clip removed to make it possible to wrap the harnesses round the bar. I have made a prototype for the cage bar and also do some reinforced bolt on mounts. will upload some pictures tomoro.

Prototype for harness bar fitting in cars with a cage already installed. Two different types of mounts for the harness themselves please PM if you are interested. Same price as standard bar 32.50, these are over 100-quid with other traders!

Just for display purposes mate to show two types of mounting, they are just tacked on for the picture. Can make with any style of mounting you require.

Do the inertia reels not sit inside the rear seat bins anyway? So do you mean where the seatbelt loops at the top of the B pillar?

yep I mean on the b pillar I've seen harness bars mounted there on other cars with a kink so it would sit behind the seat.

I guess it could be possible but if you are keeping the rear seat for people to use I think it would get in the way and also be quite a hazard for rear seat passengers as it would be fairly close to their head and every likleyhood of them hitting their head/face on it in an emergency stop situation.
