Ok ok, fair doos as iv been off here for a while!
Not a vast amount to update on unfortunatly, desperatly trying to get Kermit in a garage where he belongs.
Havnt touched him for 2 weeks and thats unheard of!
Want to get this new floor fitted so then hes pretty much good to paint up and get cracking with the rest of the vaux stuff!
ok then pictures to try and keep you all interested!
removed the old sportspack arches and found more holes than a connect 4 game
Welded them up and put a protective coat of paint on
Then a bit of the stuff i hate even more than rust
Then 1st coat of primer ,more to come
Then welded up some holes and had to deseam a bit, not sure whether to weld in a dummy step or to deseam the lot,What do you guys think?
Another black coat and laquer on the boot floor as it had got a bit scruffy in there
Then the green coats and laquer going on,has since been flatted back and done again as i scratched it with a screwdriver doh! bootlid has also been painted and all ready to be put back together
To do before xmas-
fit carbon bumper and fit leds to light up numberplate
scrap twin exhausts for a single one (weightsaving!)
finish wiring in the boot
fit carbon parcel shelf
decide on a rear window-do i go for a heated one or a polycarbonate one?
hope you are all interested still, just going to have to bare with me while i sort out all the boring jobs and then the fun starts on the vaux stuff.

poly carb windows FTW mate, especially since your going for weight saving.
Ive found that mine doesnt actually fog up as much as the glass at the front does.
And weld a faulse lip in, dont bother with deseaming fully.
Next update needs to be less than 2 weeks!

haha its just an over engineeered way to put fuel in the car just to save a measly 4kg aha but im sure itl be worth it1
the exhaust is free to anyone as ive chopped the tailpipes off the backbox but im sure someone could weld um back up
they didnt look right and youve just proved me right so im going for a single side exit me thinks

Mini-bore- going to use and mpi rad i think, not sure yet as i might even use a thin suzuki swift one as there pretty tiny and my mates vvc runs one with an extra fan and it works a treat.
Cool, cheers, After looking, it might be an MPi rad in mine after all... Cheers for the help! Car looks mint! Good luck with the rest of the project!
