@Peaty_34 -> Not meaning to be rude but I had figured that bit out (I have a bit of experience with Honda engines), I was meaning more how the whole setup is going to work, fitting the rear diff, driveshaft lengths, propshaft length, how you deal with gear ratios (as in OEM final drive and 13" wheels), overcoming the annoying way that the Honda AWD system switches from FWD to AWD, normally mid corner if your trying to give it some beans, fitting the coolant pipes in with the propshaft as you are running a rear radiator (ballsy move by the way).

If it all comes together it will be an very interesting package, I honestly cant wait to see the updates, along with the cosworth conversion I think is one of the more gutsy conversions, I applaud anyone with the kahunas to actually get their hands dirty and get something made that hasnt been done before...

hi sorry it didnt mean to sound like that, the rear diff will be hung of the rollcage, the shafts will be honda to vauxhall, ill just cut and weld to start with so i can get the correct lenghts of the shafts. ill see what the final drive is like, you can but a final drive kit for a mini, superfast minis in america. i thought about making it permanent awd so lock the transfer box or something, ill look into it if its a problem.id like to put the coolant pipes down the tunnel but if it becomes a problem the can go inside.

thanks for all the comments, many heads is better than one, heres some pictures as promised not had a lot of time on her at min.

You're quite right about many heads being better than one, sometimes I wished for a manual on how to build a Zcars kit or someone local to ask how they had done it but without them I learnt an absolute truck load along the way. There is always a need to ask others, you may have to ask many to get the answer you need, but you'll get there in the end....

I am not a Honda expert but if you have any questions please feel free to ask, I might be able to shed some light for you, after all the K24 is the same as the K20 only with a longer stroke, higher block and slightly different inlet manifold.

by the way you should have room to fit a Civic Jackson Racing Charger kit in there if you need more power - imagine that................

A most excellent project.

Coming from an EP3 owner currently running 314bhp with only a little boost :D I will be following this for sure.

K24/20 is what's know as a Frank Build, with the right breathing mods and a decent map using Kpro you will likely to see damn near 300bhp NA.
