ok so the clutch is very sensitive. i've not measured but i only have around 1" of travel from the bite point now after some research i need to downsize the master cylinder. so i was wondering on what you guys were using ? GSXR 1000 engine and box
the one i currently have looks exactly like this but is made by someone else i think its AFCO could be wrong though. i was planning on buying this one which is a 5/8 bore so about 15.8 mm will this still be too sensitive

In theory if you go for a smaller bore master cylinder it will move less fluid so should have to travel further. Any cylinder will work as long as the mounting points are spaced the same. I think Chris does a kit for the hyabusa engine so might be worth giving him a call.

i used to have the same problem, i had the std kad pedal box with a mini slave cylinder on the gearbox so i replaced it with zcars hayabusa slave cylinder and works perfect

this is the same setup my car has apart from its not the original clutch cylinder im not too sure of the size of the cylinder there are no part codes on it. i was trying to save my self £70 because if the z cars kit uses a 5/8 cylinder then thats all i need it will go strait on too the car. they said its a 14mm cylinder but the smallest i can find is 5/8 15.8mm
we are going though this hole exercise because im tight

Check out this page http://www.apracing.... Type_2386_2385 as it lists 14mm cylinders from ap racing.
From an old thread on 16v forum it's the cp2623-88prt115 that you need but they aren't cheap.

The gsxr 1000 engine has a cable clutch as standard so looks like yours has been converted using a busa slave cylinder which is the standard z cars conversion. converting back will cost more than buying a master cylinder so may as well keep it hydraulic.
