Watch it with the clutch, if you press it too far it will destroy everything as I found out. I can tell you a good mod if you are interested.

You need to change to the old type of slave cylinder that has the circlip in the end. Then get some 22mm thick walled tubing (i can send you a piece that is the perfect size if you cant find any). Cut a piece about 1 inch long, slip it inside the slave cylinder and refit the circlip. This will limit the travel and stop you destroying your clutch housing etc. You will need to keep taking it out and cutting a bit off to get it absolutely correct, better to start with it too long and keep trying the pedal. Mine was about 20mm if i remember correctly, yours could be different on the injected engine.

What type of spring are you using and how have you fitted it? any pics?

You can see pics of mine somewhere on my thread i think.

Chris puts a pedal stop on the hyabusa, but this doesn't stop you destroying the clutch if you press it quickly more than once. With the slave mod it is impossible for it to move too far. Mine has been perfect ever since.

Dale

I've tried various different springs ranging from a mini throttle return spring to a deck chair spring. Ade's work fine but I just can't seem to set mine up. Will hav eto try your mod and see if that helps.

couple more pics so you can see how ugly we are :fear:
