Rite , receieved the engine back today with its new pistons rebore and rods , and whilst it was their had it balanced and lightened. the integra head is also back with a full set of racing valves, springs and retainers and a lite port and polish , and managed to pick up a set of civic type r cams so should rev a little better than integra cams , watsons wiring loom and dta is on the way , so all i need is the car back from the paint shop then ill see if it will all fit .

I honestly don't know how you can tip-toe around a freshly painted shell and engine getting it all in! :)

Good luck to you, and use plenty of coverage!

Brave :)

Had a very good evening today finished the engine and timed it up , put the clutch and gearbox on and managed to get it all in the frame and in the car and it was not as bad to do as i first thought .

Yeah it seems a good fit got a few bits to do to set it up propaly , but it all seems good , yeah lifted the shell over and on to the frame and it slid under pretty well.

Silly question but is this gonna be the only way you can take the engine out now by lifting the shell over? If you got a 4 poster then your fine

If you haven't then I hope you got small fingers! things will be tight to work on in there! :)

Yeah that is the only way i can get it in , i think im going to have a lot of scraped nukles tho , I cant get to use a four post hoist but iv got the use of a pit so that should make it a bit easier .

looks absoultuley brilliant :).

Did that subframe need adjusting to fit that B18? if not does that mean its kind of adjustable or was it made for a mini B18 conversion?
