Spring Trackdays 11

I'm Back!! Anyway car is going up to Z cars end of this month for a bit of this and a bit of that and when its out stright to the track.

Feb/March/April anyone interested in the following?
(Im not intending on doing all of these but maybe come to an agreement. Would be good to do a bit driving with other Zcars, some tyre kicking and few photos)

Sat 26th Feb Cadwell Park - 125 quid - 105 db
Sun 27th Feb Brans Hatch Indy - 149 quid - 105db

Sat 26t March - Cadwell Park - 148 quid - 105db
Sat April 2nd - Mallory Park - 159 - 105db
Friday 15th April - Oulton park (Full) - 169 quid - 105db

Is this with the Lotus boys again?

I am interested in all but will probably only make one, give me some time to work on the misses and I'll get back to you.

What month is the Brands day?

No this is could be any company. Lotus on track are very good but does not really fit in well with my dates but I do reccomend them good bunch last few times I have been.

I have edited the dates above, bit of a type-o. Its Feb for brans.

They are mostly on saturdays so surely thats a positive. Rattle your cage a bit harder im sure she will let you out to play! Let me know

im in, but not cadwell too far.

I quite like the idea of Brands on a Sunday, let me rattle the cage and see how much Shizer starts flying around.......)

E11evens, if Cadwell is too far then Oulton Defo too far, great track though and so is Cadwell, been to both, never driven them.

Great getting there after just a few days. Sunday 27th Feb at Brands looking good. Any more for anymore?

A few track days has to happen but I have a big issue. The fact that ive never taken my car out in the damp and I never intend to. The amount of cleaning it would take to get it back to the conditon its in now would be massive. The fact I may be selling it as well its good to say its never been out in the damp/wet.
Anyway ill take my chances on a winters day and make a decision.

mallory's not that bad for distance, brands is close but not that great to be honest. would rather drive the extra miles than go to brands.

zcars are ******* on wet track days i did one and never again, crap wipers, car leaks, wheel base to short to light to powerfull and if your not of race standard of driving you'll end up pottering around the track to worried if your gonna spin off or not!

I have driven mine in the wet and it is a handful, great for doing long, hangin out there, sideways cornering in a large car park (I refuse to use 'drifitng' because it just cunjours up track suits, hoodies and Burberry print in my head, no disrespect to proper drifters as its quite a skill, but theres too many chav wannna be's out there - just my opinion)

I would rather not do a track day in the wet, in fact I would go out of my way not to do it in the wet but GOD I am not so I shall have to suck it and see. I am not opposed to Mallory, never been so its all new to me.

On the note of clean ups - what a feckin mission - my advice keep it dry.

saturday 12th of feb castle coombe is probably the best choice for me and probably to for andy and i race there so im full of tips for the best lines etc.
where are you based brandon?
just looked at your profile jersey!! gosh coombe would be better for you aswell.

Bit soon for me mate.
Like I said my car will be at Z cars havina few bits done so coming from there and doing a trakday once its done and on our way back down south.

Castle coombe coming from jersey is ideal and i think its a great track but not this time for me


Mallory possibly i was looking at somthing sooner though.
For me its looking like Cadwell on leaving Z cars and Brans the following day

My car is pieces currently as I am designing a new manifold from the TB to the Charger, I did have a go at designing one before but never got round to manufacture, this time its gonna happen as I have pulled my supercharger apart to do the working out. Getting the charger out means intake manifold off so you can imagein what my car looks like at the minute. So long story short I dodnt think I'll make the 12th, I am aiming more towards March or April.

Kinda jealous of you Mark, two track days in one weekend, I guess if you can why wouldnt you - enjoy, if I have the energy I might pop up to Brands on the Sunday and say Hi.

im up for a April onwards as i am scared of the wet!
Mallory park is ok, its not the most interesting circuits but ok.. i love oulton park and cadwell is good...

Yes lucky I am, but its going back to Jersey so a double track weekend is ideal for me... I would have no problem finding the energy =D

Why dont you do the Brands trackday if you dont live that far away? If its because it wont be ready I can understand doing modifications over the winter in time for summer is worth it. Butit has to be driven and tested ... there's always somthing to be done, its never ending but there is always more fun to be had driving...

Bit dissapointed people though in general response (apart from you two).
I know there are a load of these cars out there but no one seems to want to commit to tracks. Would be a great day out... And worth waking up early and getting the car on the trailer, drive to the track and getting stuck in
