Nope no security, had planned on fitting an imobilizer yesterday but got distracted. It looks like it was dragged away as its so loud starting it anywhere in my street and surrounding street would have alerted people.

The mini has been found :tumble:

Police are gonna print it so I can't fix anything till they turn up.

List so far

Cd player gone
Speakers gone
Ignition barrel destroyed
Steering column fudged
Wiper stalks destroyed
Column shroud gone
Alloy dam aged
Boot lock forced with screwdriver

And they nicked some fruit I had on the back seat :lol:/

Not sure how they got in. It's always locked. Looks like they must have had a mini/landrover key.
It could have been a lot worse, where it was dumped is known for cars getting torched.

I'm just glad to have it back now. I had visions of it being stripped or on a ship by now

May sound stupid.. but can you claim on insurance for it being stolen even though you got it back?

Anyway. How did they find it?

Brilliant news. really chuffed for you! Now get that security! Steering lock, alarm, immobiliser etc!!!

Will you be bothering to claim the damage from your insurance or will you shoulder the cost yourself?

Alarm etc is on order.

Gonna sholder the cost its cheaper than the increase in my insurance.

Just wish the police would come so I can get it secure

yeah I dont blame you.

I really hate insurance companies! At the end of the day, you have paid for a service. It really bugs me that they put your premium up when you need to use the "service" you have already paid for. Cheeky A holes!
