Hi Guys,

I know i'm new to this forum but can anyone help me by keeping an eye out for my mini.

I only purchased it 6 weeks ago from Mini Technique near Blackpool and someone stole it from outside our house on Friday 10th June from St.Helens in Merseyside. Its not been seen since.

It was a beautiful example of a 1996 (P reg) Mini Cooper in Night Fire Red with a white roof. The thing that make it really stand out is the Chrome Wheel Arches.

If anyone has any information about its whereabouts please get in touch as I would hate for it to be broken up.

Andy

Probably one of those you buy the car, they keep a set of keys and a copy of the logbook, then they follow u home and steal the car with there set of keys and sell it on again :/

It would be stupid of Mini Technique to do that though wouldn't it .... because it wouldn't be hard to find.

Plus it is up for sale again by Mini Technique.

I think there is something dodgy on behalf of what the user has said.

The owner of minitechnique is one of the most honest people in the car trade, the car has been stolen!,the reason it is still for sale on his website is because it hasn't been updated and changed to sold. Please before spouting utter crap THINK.
This used to be my car it is a japanese import fitted with aircon and has later full black leather interior from mpi fitted, the shell is easily identifiable as it had been repaired on the front panel while it was in japan i will know this car a mile off and so will minitechnique there are alot of features on this car to identify it or it's parts if it turns up so if anyone is offered a as new spi knightfire red shell please check the vin number in the scuttle.
There seems to more and more people breaking mpi's and spi's from home makes you wonder where they are coming from doesn't it.
This mini has been targeted specifically because of the condition and someone will have plans for it i just hope they are caught thieving scumbags can't afford it so steal it!!!.If nobody has anything constructive to say otherthan mudsling keep it to yourself as it doesn't help anyone .

I can comfirm that we sold Andy the vehicle. We have been updating our website over the past few months and the vehicle was still on our website for sale. We were contacted by Liverpool (C.I.D) and with our help we provided them with pictures and further infomation. They also told us that another 3 classic minis have been stolen in Merseyside area, around the same period.

The vehicle has now been removed from our up-dated site. www.minitechnique.com

The ad does state that the car is sold - the date of the ad may be when they last logged in to update this - I will pm the OP to see what news they have.
