I had a quote off footman james about 2 weeks ago.
*when* ive passed my test, they've said £886 TPFT On my 1989 mini thirty 998cc-
that's with Cobra bucket seats and my speakers (2 mid-range, tweeters and a 12'' sub with 300watt amp) declared, although that lot will be coming out so it might go down.
they wont insure me before though, only with a full license- I've put my mom as a named driver, and said I'll join a club too, as these things sometimes help drop prices.
Good luck!

I'm with footman James now and I'm 17, does this mean when it comes to my renewal that they won't insure me then?

there is currently a big topic running on vzi about this

it would seem most of the big classic insurers have pulled out of insuring under 25's on classic polices
