Have you tried minis reunited? hope you find it!
http://www.minisreunited.com/
Could text the cars reg to 83600 (gives you info like no of owners, colour changes, scraped or not, stolen or not) cost you £3 a go...

cheers for the replies, ive looked on minisreunited and wasnt in the gallery
has anyone used one of the v888 forms?
Ive seen the form online before but im not sure if the reasons for asking for the information would be a valid reason for the dvla to give me the current owners detais?
would they accept that i am a former owner of the vehicle and wish to contact the current owner about possibly purchasing it from them to restore? (as its currently Sorn)
cheers again

Ive used one and unless you have good reason (car accident etc) the the DVLA will NOT release the current keeper details.

cheers for the replies, im going to give the v888 a go. Has anyone used it other for similar reasons to me?
Thought i would start the topic on here to see if it was some one on here or a friend that someone knew who currently owned it.
i may have a few photos kicking about somewhere, may have to post one up and see if anyone recognises it.

Hello, I just came across this post which got me excited. I used to own this car and I think you bought it from me.
My mum gave this car when I was 9 years old. At the age of 11 I learned to drive a car in a farm in this mini. I then spent my teenage years restoring it myself!
I wish I never sold it.
Did you manage to find her again?
