All the parts are here and our workshop are setting up ready to manufacture the first of our Classic Mini central locking systems!

These systems will only require 4 small holes to be made in the door and the rest is hidden.... This means that your doors are not being chopped about :)

Our workshop are setting up to make the first batch of 30 systems this week! Get your name in quick for these as i am sure they will sell fast!

Those of you who purchased the universal kit from us will be sent the mini upgrade for free!

Lets have a show of hands from TMF members!

Many thanks,

The A-Series Team

Hello,

Thank you for your replies, We are going to do a introductory rate on the first 10 units! We are very keen to get our units out to you all and hopefully you will all be happy to spread the word once you have installed them!

The unit will normally retail at £140 including VAT and P + P

We are offering the kit at £115 including VAT and P + P for the first 10 buyers!

This includes full installation guide on CD and all the fittings to successfully install our system inside your door! Your door will only have 4 small (screw sized) holes! so nothing barbaric!

This kit is not on the website yet but will be added once we have our artwork sorted! You can order before it is on the website via email [email protected], Payment can be made via paypal which means it is nice and safe!

This kit, like all of our other products comes with a 2 year warranty but has been substantially tested to make sure it will last much longer!

Hello,

I have only seen one of those two kits and it required modifications to the door and was quite a clunky kit because of where it picked up / pivoted on the existing internal levers on the system.

Our system is a cable operated system, giving you the same fluid motion you expect from a new car with no modification to the door except for 4 screw sized holes. Very reliable due to not requiring levers to work the internal levers (each lever changes the force direction)

I hope this answers your questions!

Our Morris minor kit is going down fantastically well and all of our A-SD developments come wth our warranty from our workshop, we give them our full backing :-)

The central locking kit can be used with the rover system yes! You will just need to use our instructions and cross reference with the rover system to make sure you are getting the feeds you need! Then you will be able to control it from your Rover remote!

Hi, i'm really interested in this kit, it looks great! a few questions though! :)

The Gold package A-SD-978 kit, is that a kit that has everything you need for the full central locking, alarm kit ?

Also, the important one for me, is it a keyless entry kit? (ie do you press the button on the alarm and the door unlocks or is it still key in the handle job?)

it also say's for mk3 onwards, this kit will be going in a mini i'm rebuilding from bare shell, soo what are they key factors needed for the kit to work?

I also live in New Zealand and was wondering if you'd post out here? if so, how much would that be?

sorry for all the questions!!

Cheers

Hello,

No worries about the questions, hopefully i can answer them all for you!

1. The gold package includes everything that you will need, it comes with full illustrated instructions for both the alarm installation and the central locking installation.
2. The system is keyless entry with the option of using the key in the drivers door should the battery run out in the keyfob whilst you are out!
3. The system was designed to work in the mk3 onwards door as the mk1 and mk2 doors were a different design. Looking at the car in your picture you will be fine!
4. We can post to new zealand not a problem, the exact shipping cost will be calculated on the website if you put in your details, we have insured courier service or Royal Mail small packets (RM service seems to take a long time to new zealand)

Insured courier service comes to around £30 i believe, Royal Mail would be cheaper but not a timed service sadly! £22.00 for RM.

I hope this answers most of your questions! :)

The first 10 systems are at a reduced rate on the website and TMF+ users get the TMF discount code to use too!

Many thanks,
Rob
