"Regarding your recent post in Mini Chat. TMF is a family forum. Your post containing a topless woman is totally unsuitable. This is your one verbal warning. If you post content like that again we will take further action (temporary ban)."

If that is counted as offensive, whoever put up 'that picture' of a certain member on top of his car should have been banned for life."Regarding your recent post in Mini Chat. TMF is a family forum. Warning System
All TMF users have a personal warning bar under their avatar. Moderators and Administrators are able to warn members who break the rules and issue the penalty associated with that rule.
The penalties are as follows:
- Warning Level 1 - 1 day posting ban (minimum)
- Warning Level 2 - 2-7 day posting ban (at the moderators discretion)
- Warning Level 3 - indefinite ban
E.g. - if Joe receives one warning for spamming a thread he will receive a 1 day ban. If he comes back a week later and receives 2 further warnings (therefore increasing his warn level to 3), he will be banned indefinitely.

Are the points added automatically or do you have the option of going on a 'spam awareness course'?As already stated this is the current warning system that is now in place.

I did start replying to this but the Matrix crashed.
No they are not automatic they are applied by a Staff member along with a message stating why a warning point has been given.
If a ban is needed straight away for rules infringement then this is done by the Admin team after being highlighted by a Moderator or Staff member.
Spam awareness course could be run alongside a Being polite to other forum members course!!!!!!!

I have seen the system explained elsewhere and it seems very fair. I was attempting to be humerous and compare it to the speed awareness courses people go on. Not me of course because I never disobey the rules of the road occifer.
