Looks like i may have a few cold days trying to fix it.
Other than that though the car is driving great and feels more smooth and picks up speed a bit faster now :)

I hope to have permenantly sorted the sun visors which never stayed up by heating up and bending the plastic brackets back into shape.
I have also had to cut more wing off the passenger side as the wheel rubs when there's more than just me in the car.
When doing this though I have found that my tyre there is quite low on tread and there was a small dent which I had to pull out of the wing which was caused by the wheel hitting it.
I will to get some pictures up soon and to get the car back to the paint shop for them to correct the clear coat soon.
Cheers

I think I drove past you on the M25 last night (at the M11 junction). The car looked pretty nice under the street lights!
We were in our bland Ford Focus, otherwise I would have tooted.

that was possibly me then!
did some more work on the weekend
firstly put my new 70amp alternator in :) red light on the dash goes out almost instantly now!
i have become a pro at swapping those now after having to do it three times!
i have put a strip of foam across the slam panel to stop the bonnet banging against it
i had loads left so i used it on the back of the grille too to prevent chafing with the paint
today i washed it and found the source of my leak into the drives footwell! it seems that water is getting in where the pedals link up to the clutch master cylinder through the bulkhead. as a sort of quick fix i have used some old boot lid seal around the engine bay to stop the water running down the bulkhead but i think it needs a gasket or some sealant around the master cylinder plate.
also i think my water pump is on its way out as there is a horrid squeak coming from that area and theres a small amount on end play in the pulley
i hope it lasts till the holidays!
cheers
Elliott
