I have spent the past two nights scrolling through search engines to find anything about this.

Honda Fit/Honda Jazz

L series honda engines

What is the go? Do they fit a clubman? Does anyone know? Anyone done any? I know there is no subframes

made for them of what i can find.

Id imagine they are smaller then the bigger B D K series engines yeah?

The only issue I can see is the length of the gearbox

they are injection engines so you would need to run the Honda ecu

I understand how all other Honda engine conversion works Just really wanted to know if anyone has done it or know if its possible and would you have to cut the inner gaurds to fit

The only thing I can suggest is grap a tape measure and head to a scrap yard. Looking at pictures the engine does seem very compact so could be shuffled into a standard roundnose. As for the inner wings I think they will need trimmed, there is more to an engine than just the engine and gearbox, i.e radiator, alternator etc.

I think you would be the first to fit one into a mini, the benefits of a d series far outway the hassle of the l series
