Happy Easter. Sorry to any one who was following this build it's taken so long. I moved house last year and the mini got pushed further down the list of things to do. The minin is finished though. Its MOT'd and being driven by a very happy wife. Had a few teething problems but I think I've got everything under control.

Word of advice don't use veltrim for the floor of your car like I did. It looked lovely when I fitted it but it has no wear resistance. I replaced the whole thing with a proper carpet.

Got a lovely dash from 'Dash of Colour' I had a failed attempt at colour coding it to the body work but went for a brushed aluminium vinyl in the end which looked better imo anyway

New door cards and shiny bits to finish the interior

I made a fused relay system for the head lights

And reconditioned the fuse box (soaked all the terminals in bicarbonate of soda and vinegar mixture and cleaned them off with a toothbrush.

Did play around with a modern blade 4 pin fuse box but preferred the original one

Then washed her in preparation for the MOT

And finally a happy wife driving it around.

That's pretty much it now. If like to get a few more bits for it in the future. Some new seat covers a kick board for the speakers and a boot liner.

I'd really quite like to do another one for my self. In the mean time the wife will be stuck sharing this one ?

Fair Play for sticking at it, Im sure its a common thing to sell half way through a project after loosing interest but great job in getting to the end, it would've been a shame not to get it completed as you restored a lovely car their well done  :D
