ok guys i've had my fun now. i still have my own thoughts on this though. and just to clear up anyone thinking teenage to$$er i'm nearing the large door of 35 can drive well and do drive hard. and as alburglar said big wheels on fwd do not help much but i did say it was our clio on 18s the saxo is standard. anyway off back out to the garage now to whip the engine out the mini its finally surrendered after god nows how many rally cross events in its past and i think i killed it last time out on the road. Oh well 1380 here we go then of course it'll be bye bye nova 1.2's for once LOL

yes i agree a saxo on 18's wouldn't handle as well as a std one BUT as said several times its our CLIO turbo on 18's not the saxo this still has the standard Vts (early 14") wheels and michelin tyres.

ok... C2 VTR acceleration and top end is roughly about the same... would obviously be better on the motor way but a mini out handles it no probs. other cars that iv had a good go at include a modified 106rallye s1... that will only have me after 4.5k rpm in 3rd
1.6 16v escort got killed
1.2 16v cleo... keep up will untill 3rd and then they lack torque
1.2 16v sxi corsa... no probs
seat ibiza(dunno engine size) killed so i think 1 litre
1.4 ford puma
1.4 16v rover 200
1.6 16v Astra

thats about it so far though my loosing
BMW M3
Civic Type R
Starlet SR Turbo
Pulsar GTiR
Saxo VTS
several scoobies
Astra 2.0 turbo
Astra 1.8 16v
