usually on a mini look for rust but on a 97 there shouldnt be any, look underneath at rear subframe and sills for rust
sum will say that roofs like that will leak, mine doesnt and it is a over 20 years old!!
like i said it seems expensive, my first was only 1 litre and a 1984 and was £1000, but then again u are looking at alot newer and faster ones
also the ones u will be looking at will have a catalytic converter (not good if u want to phat exhaust lol) and air bags which most minis wont have, there are several other safety features it will have because it is newer than 92 (?) which other minis wont

The 25 never had a folding roof even as option so must have been fitted at a later date.sum will say that roofs like that will leak, mine doesnt and it is a over 20 years old!!
Bit much considering mine is an 84 with 50k from new, slight rust and only cost me £8002nd one is a 97 R reg - 74k miles & family owned from new £3700 ono
Just looks a bit over priced compared to the other one, as the engine is nearing time for a rebild.
sholudn't, but you would be suprised.look for rust but on a 97 there shouldnt be any

well altho i am in no way close to working out whether mine is factory fitted, i have read that a ahndful were made with the folding roof as a test, but it was soon decided that they wouldnt continue it. so mine may be one fo those, ill try and track done where i saw it

She wrote the Mini off racing a Ford Capri which was the car of her dreams at the time Dad stupidly then bought her a brand new Capri, she wrote it off aswell when she was in collision with a police car!!!
