Yeah I've done a few for 998s with various turbos like the kkk or 1544, obviously this manifold will fit too. Im currently making a 'stealth' setup for a friends 998 using a 1544 turbo and im converting the original airbox into a plenum chamber so it looks standard.

Heya im back again, still interested and would love to see the one you are currently working on. Been in hospital recently so been put back a step with working on the mini.. even more reason to have someone prebuild the item for me to speed up the whole process.. i must get her to l2b!. Would you need the micra flange or is it purely all fresh build including injector holes?

Perfect time for a bit of project planning then!

The one I'm doing is using the existing cast flange. After seeing one, it will make for a neater job, as there is a lot going on in such a small space. There is no reason why the welds couldn't be dressed and it all made to look factory, it just takes more time.

I will upload the pictures when it all done.

Hi, for those enquiring about the micra plenums, here is some pictures of the plenum I have just finished for the micra conversion. This is a simple version, they can also be made with different length I nlet runners and trumpets inside the plenum, TB flange in different position...etc just let me know your requirements. :-)

Costings on something like the above? Was this made for the allspeed frame setup?

They are price at £195.

I'm not sure which subframe is used for this setup, but I will find out.

EDIT: This was made to suit a setup using the Allspeed subframe.

The latest release from Fusion Fabrications is a plenum for the k1100 head conversion. Most configurations available on request, custom TB flanges, sensor take offs and bosses, D shaped plenums, or even a plenum of your own design, for those requiring something a little different to fit in with their engine conversion project.

Here's another picture of the finished plenum. I thought I'd introduce it to the polishing wheel.

Awesome! i cant wait to see the one you're making for me :)  I see you've made the inlet hole circular but the bottom of the micra throttlebody has a square / rectangle outlet - any reason for that?

It's the original manifold that is square though, as you say.

Ahaha! Im so silly, i see it now. Its because ive spent so long staring at a cut up manifold which has the rectangle hole in it. Just gone and checked my setup and its the same As the above pics Teach me for nit picking lol. Cheers for that :)

No worries, I've been following the posts on Micra conversions for ages now, I forget most things these days. I'll look forward to seeing your manifold and the completed car of course.

The flange I made was an exact copy of the TB gasket face, with the extra key hole shaped slot underneath. I wasn't sure what the gasket looked like so this was the safest bet. I guess the original inlet flange was made with a square hole to keep production costs down. The square hole should link the main venturi to the key hole shaped hole and idle valve hole (I think it was?). I will double check everything is linked the same when I receive your inlet flange 666junky.
