You might be able to buy a piston set from Mini Spares?

I would be VERY cautious about obtaining a single ring, be it compression or oil control. Be dead set sure that it's not only the same brand, but also for the same Ring Pack.
The Rings are designed as a pack to work together. Mixing them can have unexpected results, like either a smoker or something that will wear the bore in no time flat. That was how I learnt this, the hard way. I'd broken a Ring and used another, within 10 000 km, it needed a re-bore as it had worn on that single cylinder, while the others were perfect.

Your best bet would be to have a chat with a local engineering shop who may have some NOS stuff hidden away somewhere. I did exactly what you did when building my engine and managed to get a set of rings for a knockdown price from there. I was then able to sell the remaining rings on ebay.
It might be worth giving Mini Sport a ring as I have heard that they sell rings in single piston sets.

Might be cheaper to buy a piston, depending on the piston part number.
