Unless I've missed something somewhere along the thread you won't be able to use that plate? If the mini is still an 86 as per yiur first post "D" is the newest year you can use as you can't make a car look newer. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if that is the case, but cracking work on everything else and keep it up.   


Not sure what am do at the mo did spot that when i boght it just wanted it as it match my fiesta

Got a bit of welding done yesterday in the sun, got sun burnt as well

Quick question anyone run a z car on 10 X 7 i now they will not fit with WILWOOD callipers on front but will they fit over rear callipers.

love the 10" wheel look.

Quick update on a few shiny bits bought at London to Brighton

got some legal slicks the guy i bought them off from huddersfield spares says that yokohama are stopping production of these tyres in the next few months as the decibel reading on them is too high. so if you use these may want to stock up

they are stopping the 12 and 13" rims but the 10" slicks are still being produced

Will, the calipers need to be on the front edge of the hub, you need to swap the hubs around. Also the offset looks way too big, this might get better once you've sorted the hub orientation out......

Will swap the hubs round.
thort somthing was up as the caliper brackets are fouling the steering arms. I didnt fit the hubs bought them assembled.
The wheels are off my other mini am using them as they are the only thing that will fit over the MASSIVE breaks, am guna buy a set of force racing wheels as soon as i have got enofe money

The floor is in really happy with the fit. also got fed up with the wind and rain and bought a marque

had a few issues with the inner wing repair panels as they were to big, nothing a grinder couldn't sort

got a quick rack fitted with kad rack limiters

being using the grinder again ):

cleaned off all the welds and removed the dash rail and top rail as well as the bulkhead

all the heater matrix tags and carpet tags are gone

finished the underneath with all there battery cable carrier and breakline tags gone for a smooth look. weight saving as well every ounce counts
