    Starting My Mini Up

Hi,

Just wanted to give young drivers a hint for getting cheap insurance. I'm 17 and I've managed to insure my Mini (with loads of mods including being bored to 1380 and running a 45 Weber) for less than £1500. Call a company called 'HIC', join a club, put a relative on your policy and have a limited milage policy.

Hope this helps a few people out because insurance is ridiculous regardless of how old your car is!

Ed.

I got my insurance (1275cc) to £950, only because the girl on the phone loved Minis and got me the best deal apparently  :gimme:

Awful company.

I've worked with HIC in the past and had a good deal. You're a member on here, so claim that when you ring them up!
