This thing will look sick when done! Always fancied the idea of Manilla Green - my fav colour for Mk1 Golf, think it would really suit a Mini...

Its probably going to end up Island blue, love manilla green but im not sure it would work well with the carbon bumpers and plate plinth etc

Now the fun bit, making this fit,

This also arrived, just waiting on the pulleys as they where out of stock

Next stage will be a dry build so should be some more regular updates over the next month or so.

Looking good so far.  Thats a proper cage, not these flimsy looking cages you find in most Minis.  Welded to the sheel along the A pillar always looks great too.

Man I want a SC Kseries engine

This is looking sweet mate! I've also done a completely smoothed bay so I know how much hard work it takes!

I took the car to wishart motorsport for the cage. Stephen is involved in alot of very high end rally car builds here in N.Ireland/ Ireland, so he was definitely the man for the job. Its been built to msa guidelines as well so could be built to compete.

Thanks again for the kind words folks

New arches arrived yesterday, so i had to give it a trial fit

Bit more tweaking and the ride height should be spot on, needs to come down another 10mm on rear
