Hi all,

The next chapter of my MPi is literally around the corner and am trying to prepare. The mini is at my folks in Shropshire and looking to get the rear subframe suitably blasted, maybe welded, then powdercoated.

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Regards

Steve

http://www.stpcoatings.co.uk

I had both my subframes blasted, acid dipped, zinc coated and powdercoated by these guys last year and they came back perfect

Wasn't cheap - £240 if I recall correctly but should last forever, I used Dynax s50 in the box sections afterwards

City powdercoating in brum, although next saturday I'm picking up a breaker with what I believe to be a good powdercoated rear frame.......

I had my rear frame and brackets done for £100 cash at a place round the corner from Denso in the end. I've heard good things about STP, but the price puts me off.

Sorry Steve I didn't realise it was an old thread. Showed up as new content for some reason. Glad you got it sorted
