I think the problem is there isn’t a true rear disk brake for the Mini. Correct me if I’m wrong. Most improvements to the rear brakes are just to make them lighter. What I’ve heard is that the drums are still the best to actually stop the Mini. KAD now has another rear 4 pot disk, (see link) but two pots are for the hand brake and two are for braking. I’m not sure how these will hold up in my scenario.
