So after asking a few questions hear and there I have finally started my Promotive build....

Looking to keep the car as standard looking as possible

Jobs done so far are

Stripped car of hydrolastic
Removed engine
Removed front subframe
Installed facet pump and regulator
Started installing dry radius arms.. bargain from flebay
Installed the awesome smiths digital speedo all works

Lots to still do though can't tackle any front suspension until subframe arrives

Looking to hide the r1 clocks somewhere I'm thinking of were the old heater was

Thanks.. didn't realise there was anybody around the area.. would be good to meet and compare in the near future.

So far nearly finished converting the rear to dry suspension... and fuel system finished and working... Brent clutch is here :) just waiting for the engine and pro mo kit to arrive.

Not long!

Another local here ;-) Love elfs, a bike powered sleeper is very cool. I guess you've changed the rear subby going from wet to dry?

I'm on the Oxfordshire Berkshire boarder. I've been toying with the idea of an r1 conversion myself. Would love to pop down and see the progress and chat about the build one weekend if that's OK.
