Joakwin, what are the seats from? They look similar to the Subaru seats I put in mine, except mine have removable headrests.

Amazing build.

I was stationed in RAF Mildenhall and that's where I found the love for these classic Mini's.  Cant wait to see the rest of your progress.

In the process of moving out of state right now

But I’m thinking of removing the automatic Honda and doing a geo metro g10....for a light weight set up, see if I can get the car to under 1200 lbs, well maybe 1300 lbs

i started to work on installing disc brakes onto the rear of my car

 

before i had mini sport brake assy, and some mini fin drums

 

this rotor is a Honda 9.4 inch solid and uses a single piston caliper and has the park brake set up for a cable pull

I need to understand all your brake upgrades. You make it look like it is all just drop in, but I haventt seen anythign so easy on a mini before. 

I made a bracket to bolt the Honda caliper onto the mini 3 bolt arm, it’s made out of 1/2 inch aluminum, I think I used 5160, but I can’t remember, one section of the bracket, were it mounts to the minis rear arm, I had to taper it, machined it down to 3/8’s thick, I used counter stunk bolt heads so the bracket would clear the hub, I have billet hubs from dsn classic as well, I made my mock up bracket out of 3/8’s wood, much easier to cut wood into the shape then metal or aluminum, I think I made around 10 wooden brackets before I finally got it right,

I am also using Honda rear solid rotors, I changed the stud size on my mini from 3/8’s to 7/16’s, I’m using aftermarket studs, some super long ones, and when I changed the stud size, I also drilled the Honda rotor for the 4x101.6mm pattern (4x4), vs Honda that comes with a 4x100 bolt pattern

I got the studs from summit racing, think they are for a Chevy truck from the 60’s
The Honda del sol rear rotors are a solid 9.4 inch rotor and up
Front I have some Hyundai Accent rotors, I think they are from a 98, they are vented 9.5 inch rotors, they were $20 each from autozone
And I have some aluminum adapters that connect the rotor to the minis hub flange

And I used some wilwood 4 piston calipers, the ones with the 3.5
Mount that come straight out, they bolt directly to the minis spindle

And then I also put the rest of the Honda del sol brake system into my mini
I had a wilwood pedal box before but didn’t like the master cylinders reseviors, they kept on leaking brake fluid
So I changed that triple master cylinder pedal box out for a oem Honda set up

I have the pedal box/booster/mc and prop valve from the Honda

The pedal box and booster are mounted inside the car
And the master is mounted to the firewall
And the prop valve is mounted lower on the firewall

I used steel braided lines (-4) off the master to the prop valve
And off the prop valve to front calipers as well, and a short section of steel braided line to hard line for the dual rear lines for the rear brakes

If I were to do the rear disc set up again, I would use vw golf calipers, they aren’t as wide as the 95 Honda del slow calipers, the Honda calipers worked for me because i made my arms offset 3.5 inches outward for my body kit I put on the car
