Just wanted to know if there are any known compatibility issues between modern automotive fuels and stainless, as I wish to do all the ridgid fuel lines in 316.

If its any help I have had the main fuel line in 316 stainless on my daily drive 998 for 12 years with no problems.

There won't be any issues with regards to the fuel. The only caution note I'd add is to do your best to insulate the stainless from any steel work that it may come in to contact with, it will cause the steel to rust in fairly short order.

Thanks for the replies much apreciated, thats a very valid point about the stainless tube affecting the steel Chris, been thinking about that one and and have come up with what I think may be a solution by covering it in a double layer of electrical shrink tube where it comes into contact with the floor pan. Will be ordering the correct size stainless tube next week.
