Everybody – whether you’re driving a “Classic” or not – is welcome to the largest New Year’s Day Classic Gathering in the UK.

If you are arriving in a pre-1988 (‘E’-registration or earlier) vintage or classic car, motorcycle or commercial vehicle, or you are part of a pre-booked and pre-paid Club display with a windscreen pass, you should use the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road (B374). Parking for these vehicles will be in and around the Paddock, on the Finishing Straight, Members’ Banking (subject to space). Newer sports and supercars will have space dedicated to them at the northern end of The Heights which is now connected to the Museum by new gates. Entry to this area before noon will be via the Wellington Way entrance to The Heights and after 12 noon via the Campbell Gate.

We will also have the Vickers Gate open until 12:00 noon for Brooklands Trust Members arriving in pre-1988 Classics for fast-track entry with access via Brooklands Drive and Mercedes-Benz World. Entry for Members in pre-1988 vehicles after noon will be via the Campbell Gate.

All other vehicles should use the event Public car park in The Heights off Wellington Way.

With over 1,000 vehicles expected, live music and a winter barbeque and other additional food outlets, there will be something for everybody amongst the vast and diverse displays of classics all descending on Brooklands to kick start 2018 in style.

Gates open at 9am and Museum buildings and displays are open from 10am-4pm; Normal Museum admission prices apply.

In practice you're extremely unlikely to get directed to the public car park if you're in a later than 1988 classic Mini .. so go through the Campbell gate and you should be ok..
